... e in uno degli ultimi incontri ebbe la ventura di passare per la redazione della National Review. E di conoscere Jay Nordlinger, il giovane e brillante caporedattore della rivista leader del conservatorismo americano. Oggi Jay ha raccontato nella sua rubrica Impromptus la nostra visita. E ha linkato il sito di Ideazione, facendo schizzare in alto i già alti contatti del nostro giornale on line. Ecco cosa ha scritto Nordlinger:
"Not long ago, I met with a group of very impressive people in NR's offices. They were the gang from Ideazione, an Italian magazine and think tank. (They are a one-stop-shopping bunch.) These are the "American-style conservatives" of Italy, a fairly lonely group, despised by the Left, of course, and also by much of the Right, which is fascistic and vile. I urge anyone who can read Italian to avail himself of Ideazione: www.ideazione.com. And I urge everyone else to remember, somehow, this inspired and inspiring group in Italy. One more thing about them: They remind me of NR, circa 1960. Go get 'em, fellas".
Farà piacere ai lettori del bimestrale Ideazione (e dell'edizione on line) sapere che Jay Nordlinger scriverà regolarmente per la nostra rivista. Così, anche chi non ha dimestichezza con l'inglese, potrà apprezzare il suo acume e il suo stile.
